As life changes so do your financial goals. Life events affect your personal financial circumstances and arrangements, and with frequent changes in legislation and market conditions it is surprising how quickly a financial plan can become outdated.
Protection, Life Assurance & IHT Planning
We have access to a large range of products through various providers and can recommend the types of cover that are relevant for you, calculate how much you need and for how long. We can also recommend and arrange cover with the most appropriate providers.
Inheritance Tax Planning is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority
The plan will have no cash in value at any time and will cease at the end of the term. If premiums are not maintained, then cover will lapse.
Retirement Solutions
Planning your retirement is one of the most important financial decisions you will ever make, and these decisions could affect your lifestyle for the rest of your life.
Monforte Wealth Limited can advise you on the right ‘solution’ for you and help you get the most from your retirement fund.
A pension is a long term investment. The fund value may fluctuate and can go down. Your eventual income may depend upon the size of the fund at retirement, future interest rates and tax legislation.
Savings & Investments
These are the building blocks of investment portfolios. Your risk profile (how much risk you can and should be prepared to take on) will help determine the appropriate mix of these basic components in your portfolio.
There are several other important factors to consider such as how investments are taxed, the choice of investment managers and how accessible the funds are. All of these can make a substantial difference to your returns.
The value of units can fall as well as rise, and you may not get back all of your original investment.
Wills & Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)
Making a Will is one of the most important things that someone will do as it tells everyone what should happen to their money, possessions and property after they die.
If there is no Will the Law will decide how an estate is passed on.
If you would like to discuss having your Will written or if it is sometime since your Will was originally written it may need reviewing (the Government recommends that a Will is reviewed every 5 years and after any major "life changes" such as getting separated or divorced, getting married, having a child, moving house, if the executor named in the original Will dies etc).
An LPA covers decisions about your financial affairs, or your health and care. It comes into effect if you lose mental capacity, or if you no longer want to make decisions for yourself.
